Il governo dell'impresa in una società complessa: la ricerca di un equilibrio tra economia ed etica
The article focuses on some questions arising from the issues of ethics and corporate social responsibility. The article argues the necessity of a clear definition of the concept and the content of social responsibility, taking into consideration the disagreement of the main opinions on the subject, the article, also, looks into how possible and how necessary it is for economic responsibility and social responsibilit to coexist. The ways of reaching an equilibrium between those two (as far as the companys survival, continuity and development are concerned) are outlined. Finally, the ways of introducing the ethics issue into the companys administration are considered. The fact that a crucial role is given to the ethics matter, leads to the reflection on the fact that it is necessary to promote the development of a more solid discipline in a scientific field.
