Neuroscience & business: a Bibliometric Analysis

The importance of entrepreneurial intention has been widely recognized in the literature. Stemming from the Shapiro’s seminal works (Shapero 1984; Shapero and Sokol 1982), the literature on entrepreneurial intentions starts a period of rapid growth. In fact, soon after, different independent contributions emerge in the field of entrepreneurship, as more authors begin to recognize the potential value of the intention approach (Bird 1988). A notable increase of relevant publications can be registered in the past years and prior research signals the potential to better understand this phenomenon with a successful integration of theories from a neighboring field into the study of entrepreneurship. ….
