Open innovation in family firms: an analysis on high tech firms for cultural goods

Drawing from open innovation and family business literatures, the aim of this study is twofold. First, moving from the distinction among inbound, outbound and coupled innovation processes, it investigates to what extent these processes influence a firm’s innovativeness in terms of product, process and organizational innovation. Second, it looks at whether being a family firm influences these relationships.
