Understanding the role of risk capital providers in entrepreneurial ecosystems

Venture Capital is a key figure in entrepreneurial processes and in stimulating innovation. In the field of innovation, our interest focuses on the founding dynamics of innovation ecosystems. It has been observed that the most successful innovation ecosystems are those characterized by the strong presence of venture capitalists; figures crucial for the birth and growth of start-ups, especially high-tech ones, the lifeblood of innovation.

For this reason, our goal was to explore the role of Venture Capital (VC) within Innovation Ecosystems (IE).
