Crisi e complessità dei sistemi economici e sociali: dalla sinergia al contagio
The nexus between economic and social precipitating systems – from the single business firm to wider entities, like transnational supply chains, industrial clusters, the financial global system, national economics etc. – and their own degree of complexity is the topic of this work. Our aim is to understand, firstly, how systemic complexity affect both crisis and its overcoming; secondly, complex thinking usefulness for socio-economic system crisis depiction, prediction and/or management. Though economic literature about systems crisis has been a crucial reference, our work adopts an interdisciplinary perspective, considering also studies about medicine, epidemiology, psychology, sociology and politics.
