Il ruolo del piacere nell'acquisto: da hedonic state a hedonic process

Addressing the main goals and limits of the literature about hedonism, a historic development is presented here through a critic review, based on a large number of contributions, considering both the unit of analysis and the methodological aspects.

A careful, diachronic approach allows the identification of a passage from a static vision of the phenomenon, based on a single element, to a more proper dynamic modelization, based on the interaction of different elements. This new, emerging view is the one we consider allows a deeper understanding, collecting the broad legacy of twenty years of debate, both on the theoretical as well as on the empirical level.
