Impresa e produzione di valore nell'era della complessità
Numerous business enterprises use nowadays a decision approach that goes beyond the classic concept of profit-oriented, formal, rationality. The cause of this evolution is evident: a firm that is networked with other firms has to manage the behavior of many persons and productive units that are out of its direct control. By consequence, its ends and means become complex, corresponding to the growing complexity of present world. This type of enterprise can be viewed as a system only if we consider systems as unfinished circuits of self-reference. Unfinished systems need other unfinished, complementary, systems, in order to work properly and efficiently. This is the rationale that supports the growth of networked value production.
