Un modello di cooperazione pubblico-privato nel processo decisionale di destination building: il caso del Sannio

This article aims to describe a cooperation model between public and private organizations in the destination building process. In order to investigate the complex relationships between resources, competences, roles of many actors, the destination has been identified as unit of analysis, according to the main literature on this topic. In particular, the analysis deals with two different, but interrelated, levels: the static-synchronic and the dynamic-dyachronic. To keep a destination building process successful, it is important first to focus on the distinct structural components of the destination, secondly on their interaction in order to create value for the different stakeholders balancing their strategic tasks. This destination model is then used to investigate Sannio, a particular internal area of Campania, in order to understand if there are actual conditions to build a destination. The article also shows an empirical evidence of the degree of inter-firm interaction as well as of cooperation between public and private sector, referred to a specific project-idea, approved by the Government of Regione Campania, in the frame of its law about The Wine Routes. The research highligths, among the other considerations, the need of developing functions and roles of meta-management to build a unique local identity.
